Crime Stoppers subjects arrested on Andover Street
Two people featured Tuesday in Crime Stoppers have been taken into custody, authorities said.
Catherine Harvey, 36, and Gregory Taylor, 39, were arrested on Andover Street in Buffalo.
They were wanted on several warrants connected with the purchase of various items, including large items from department stores and leasing and renting vehicles, with illegal checks, in Erie and Niagara counties last year.
Neighbor recovers guitars

A neighbor recovered two bass guitars stolen early Tuesday in a smash-and-grab burglary at a Main Street business, according to Buffalo police reports.
Northeast District officers said they were told a man entered Music City, 3236 Main St., by smashing through the front-door window at about 1 a.m. The burglar stole the guitars, valued at a total of $3,100.
After the burglar left the business, he was caught by a neighbor, reports state. But the burglar threw down the guitars and escaped.
Stereo equipment and CDs stolen from vehicles
NIAGARA FALLS -- More than $2,700 in stereo equipment and compact discs was stolen from two vehicles, police said Tuesday.
An 18th Street man told police a stereo system and compact discs worth $1,500 were stolen from his 1990 Cadillac after the driver's window was smashed out Monday near his home.
A resident of Panama Street, Town of Niagara, said a $950 stereo system and 20 compact discs worth $300 were taken Monday from his car in the 1300 block of Ashland Avenue. The door was forced open, and the car's ignition and steering column were damaged.
