Services for Pressley Walker, 53, a former worker at Buffalo Niagara International Airport, were held today in Mount Olive Baptist Church, 701 E. Delavan Ave. Burial was in Forest Lawn.

The Buffalo resident died Tuesday (Feb. 20, 2001) in Veterans Affairs Medical Center after a long illness.

He was a crane operator at Republic Steel Corp. and drove a shuttle van and performed other duties at the airport until forced to retire because of poor health.

Walker served in the Army and was discharged in 1974.

His wife, Ola M., died about 12 years ago.

He is survived by a daughter, Jeanine of Buffalo; three sons, Pressley Jr., Quincy and Kevin, all of Buffalo; two sisters, Martha Martin and Ella Singletary, both of McCormick, S.C.; four brothers, J.W. of McCormick, Roosvelt of Hephzibah, Ga., Monroe of Buffalo and Willie B. of Niagara Falls; his fiancee, Beverly Bryant of Buffalo; and five grandchildren.
