MEN'S WORLD CUP SKIING CANCELED DUE TO -- SNOW

The men's World Cup circuit looked toward its return to Europe on Sunday after overnight snow and a bleak forecast forced the third straight postponement of a men's downhill race in the mountains near Salt Lake City.

The downhill was rescheduled for next Friday at Kvitfjell, Norway.

With seven races remaining on the schedule, the reigning World Cup champion, Austria's Hermann Maier, has a 468-point lead in the overall standings. Each victory is worth 100 points.
