Moog Inc. has won a pair of contracts worth about $12 million to make gun aiming systems for tanks made by Hagglunds Vehicle AB in Sweden, the company said.

Moog will make electro-mechanical hardware that will allow the tank's weapons to be fired while the vehicle is moving rapidly over rough terrain. Previously, tanks had to stop before they could lock their weapons on their targets and fire.

The equipment will be made at Moog's German factory. Deliveries begin in September and continue through 2005.
