Kathleen M. Pollard, 69, of Warsaw died Monday (Feb. 19, 2001) in Millard Fillmore Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born July 18, 1931, in Northfield, Mass.
Miss Pollard served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years and the U.S. Army for 12 years, retiring from the Army as a captain in 1973. She received the Army Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters.
For several years, she owned and operated a pet supply and grooming store in East Aurora.
Miss Pollard was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Warsaw, serving on the Altar Guild and Vestry.
She was a member of the Wyoming County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Survivors include her companion of 30 years, Barbara Davis of Warsaw.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Trinity Episcopal Church, 62 W. Buffalo St., Warsaw. Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery.
