Helen Stephens Griffin, 88, of Amherst, a Sisters Hospital volunteer who was known as a "Tray Lady," died Saturday (Feb. 17, 2001) in Sisters Hospital.
The Buffalo native had been active in church work and enjoyed playing bridge. She also enjoyed spending summers at the family's Lake Ontario home near Lyndonville.
Survivors include a son, Dennis of Williamsville, and three grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 30 Lamarck Drive, Snyder. Prayers will be said at 9:30 in Dietrich Funeral Home, 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
