Marion Dennison, a longtime Carborundum Co. employee, died Monday (Feb. 12, 2001) in her home after a lengthy illness. She was 86.

Born Marion Fielding in England, she moved here in 1923 and attended local schools.

She was employed as a packer at Carborundum for 23 years, retiring in 1980.

Mrs. Dennison was a member of the Carborundum Senior Citizen Lawn Bowling League.

Her husband, Roland, died in 1953.

She is survived by three sons, Paul Askland of Auburn, Tenn., and Arthur Askland and Morris Askland, both of Niagara Falls; and four grandchildren.

Services will be private.
