The Montreal Canadiens visit HSBC Arena on Sunday night at 7 for a game against the Buffalo Sabres.

Today is a busy day in local college basketball, and it also offers something a little different. Niagara takes on Iona at midnight at the Gallagher Center so the game can be televised by ESPN2. At more reasonable hours, Canisius plays host to Marist at 2 p.m. at the Koessler Athletic Center and St. Bonaventure faces St. Joseph's at 2 p.m. at the Reilly Center.

There's a men's-women's doubleheader today at the University at Buffalo. The women will play Ball State at 2 p.m. and the men will play Bowling Green at 3:45 p.m.; Empire will televise both games.

The Buffalo Bandits will play the Washington Power in a National Lacrosse League game tonight at 8 in the HSBC Arena.

Things to view

The Buffalo Sabres will get a stern test tonight when they play at the Ottawa Senators at 7 in a game to be televised by Empire.

Tiger Woods will be in the Buick Open field that tees off at 3 p.m. today and Sunday on Channel 4.
