Jim Pitts once again shows us all what's wrong with Buffalo and politics. He is willing to hold up at any additional expense or even destroy the No. 1 development project to come to this area in years, all because he supposedly was not brought into the "loop." Too bad!
He and other political "lifers" should get out of the way and look to the betterment of our area, as a whole, and not be petty in asking what's in it for them. Pitts and others like him were in all likelihood circumvented for that very reason.
Only Buffalo politicians would even consider holding the Adelphia project up for ransom. What a shame. It's no wonder newly arriving companies and employers shun Buffalo and head for the suburbs. At least the suburban "hacks" know what is good for their constituents and know when to get out of the way, while taking all of the credit.
