Louise B. Carson, a resident of St. Columbans on the Lake retirement home for many years, died Tuesday (Feb. 6, 2001) in the Chautauqua County Home, Dunkrk. She was 88.
Born Louise Bone was born in Cleveland, she was a homemaker. She enjoyed bridge, tennis and swimming.
Her husband, Harold, died in October.
She is survived by two sons, Robert F. of Towson, Md., and Donald P. of Purchase; two daughters, Jean M. Tate of Dunkirk and Mary Lou Wilson of Baltimore; a sister, Jean Helmbrecht of Dunkirk; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of St. Columbans. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna.
