Frances M. Sobczyk, 87, a former Niagara Falls resident, died Sunday (Feb. 4, 2001) in Marietta Center for Health and Rehabilitation, Marietta, Ohio, after a brief illness.

Born Frances Zymroz in Niagara Falls, she attended local schools.

She was employed at Bell Aircraft Corp. and owned and operated Eagle Motel with her husband, Joseph C., who died in 1973.

Mrs. Sobczyk was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Niagara Falls and the O'Neil Center Golden Opportunities Club in Marietta.

She moved to Ohio three years ago.

Survivors include two sisters, Casimera Grassler of Clearwater, Fla., and Jane Garvey of Marietta, and three brothers, Frank and Leo Zymroz, both of Niagara Falls, and Ted Zymroz of Lewiston.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Holy Trinity Church, 1419 Falls St. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston.
