Eileen L.C. Hawthorne Campbell, 92, a licensed practical nurse in Niagara Falls for many years, died Saturday (Feb. 3, 2001) in Wyoming County Nursing Facility after a brief illness.

A native of Toronto, Mrs. Campbell worked at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital and St. Mary's Manor in Niagara Falls, retiring in 1987.

While living in Niagara Falls, she was a 50-year member and deacon of First Baptist Church and a member of the SPCA.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Meidenbauer of Warsaw; a sister, Evelyn Rogers of Orangeville, Ont.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 Main St. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.
