Leola M. Golding, 67, a Wheatfield resident, died unexpectedly Friday (Feb. 2, 2001) in her home on Sy Road.

Born Leola Simonette in Niagara Falls, she attended local schools.

She had been associated with Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara since 1978 as part of the sheltered workshop and senior programs and greenhouse. She participated in the senior companion program through the Health Association of Niagara County as well as the Dale Association's senior program.

Mrs. Golding enjoyed bingo and bowling.

She was the widow of Robert Golding.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda of Buffalo and Carol Kenyon and Robin Warren, both of Niagara Falls; four sisters, Barbara Pike of Gasport, Sylvia Wolf of Texas, Christine Paulk of Alabama and Pat Newell of Niagara Falls; a brother, Joseph Simonette of Niagara Falls; two grandchildren; and dear three friends, Ruth and Curtis Rickard and Walter Myers.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Zajac Funeral Home, 319 24th St. Burial will be scheduled in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
