Michael Peca should not be respected for his stupid decision. He is a restricted free agent. The Sabres should not trade him unless they get a great deal for him. He would be more valuable as an example to other players in Buffalo (and other cities) who think they can dictate where they will or won't play. Let him sit for four years. If we lose a few games along the way, that's OK. The Sabres will still be competitive and fun to watch. It will also be fun to think of Peca sitting at home losing $12 million. It'll be a good side story for four years that will keep me entertained. Who knows, maybe soon I'll be saying "yes" to Peca when he asks me, "Do you want fries with that?"
