Elsie Zeiher, 83, a retired executive secretary and former Buffalo resident, died Wednesday (Jan. 31, 2001) at home in Franklin Lakes, N.J.
Born Elsie Parrish in Petersburg, Va., she was executive secretary to the founder of National Gypsum Co. in Buffalo until retiring in 1987. She had lived in Buffalo and Charlotte, N.C., before moving to Franklin Lakes 2 1/2 years ago.
Mrs. Zeiher attended West Side Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood, N.J.
She was the widow of Sheldon Zeiher.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Parekh of Franklin Lakes; a son, William of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. today in West Side Presbyterian Church, Ridgewood, N.J. Burial will be in Blandford Cemetery in Virginia.
