WARREN J. WALDOW, DENTIST, WWII VETERAN

Warren J. Waldow, a dentist who had a practice in Buffalo for more than 40 years, died Tuesday (Sept. 26, 2000) in Santa Ana, Calif. He was 92.

He was born in Russia and came to this country with his parents in 1912. He graduated from the University of Buffalo Dental School and practiced in Buffalo from 1934-76, except for service in the Navy during World War II.

After his retirement, he moved to Palm Springs, Calif., where he pursued his passion for dancing, golf, tennis and bridge.

He is survived by two sons, Neil of Hawaii and Warren Jr. of Webster; a daughter, Susan Demsey of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
