Jean M. Ward, 62, of Freedom, died Wednesday (Sept. 27, 2000) at her daughter's home in Arcade after a long illness.
Born Jean Albright in Lackawanna, she worked as a cashier and butcher at Lynch's Red Stripe Butcher Shop in Chaffee. Before that, she worked as a cashier at Ames in Yorkshire.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald; three daughters, Geraldine Trala and Kathleen Ward, both of Arcade, and Marjorie Waldron of Kenmore; two sons, Norbert Nadolny and William Nadolny; two sisters, Betty White of Blasdell and Lillian Dunlavey of West Seneca; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. today in St. Peter and Paul Church, Main Street, Arcade.
