The Buffalo League of Sightless Bowlers needs drivers, pinspotters and scorekeepers from now through April. Bowling takes place from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Manor Lanes, 150 Grand Island Blvd., Tonawanda. Volunteers are needed for Kenmore, Tonawanda, Buffalo, South Buffalo and Cheektowaga. Gas money is provided to drivers.

Also, blind or partially sighted bowlers are invited to bowl in the league. Call George Rohe at 895-1460 or 692-5236 for details.

The American Red Cross, 786 Delaware Ave., is seeking individuals who are outgoing and enjoy helping people. There is a position available for a receptionist at the Clement House, the headquarters for the Greater Buffalo chapter. It's on a bus line and there is adequate parking.

Volunteers are asked to commit to a four-hour morning or afternoon shift one day a week. Training and orientation are provided. For information on this position and others, call Joan Jennings Scalfani at 878-2395.

Bridgewell, an adult care community at 2704 Main St., needs volunteers on weeknights and weekends to lead residents in activities that include bingo, card games and giving manicures. Call Joe Auria, administrator, at 835-0979.
