Niagara University dropped its second straight women's soccer game Tuesday, losing to Lafayette, 5-1, in a nonconference matchup at Niagara Field.
Freshman Rosie Luzak (Lewiston) scored in the 33rd minute to give the Purple Eagles (4-5) a 1-0 lead at halftime.
But Lafayette's Emily Myers countered in the second half with two goals in a two-minute span to give the visitors the lead. Myers would add a late goal to complete the hat trick as the Leopards (5-4) scored five unanswered goals.
Senior Rayanne Roman (Lockport) combined with freshman Alayna Loiselle for seven saves for Niagara, which was outshot, 20-15.
In other women's soccer action, Buffalo State was outshot 7-4 in its 1-0 loss to St. John Fisher. The Bengals fell to 3-6.
BASKETBALL: St. Bonaventure changed the dates for two of its home men's basketball games. The Bonnies will play Toledo on Friday, Dec. 8 and Fairleigh Dickinson on Monday, Dec. 11. Both games start at 7:30 in the Reilly Center.
MEN'S SOCCER: Christain McCann scored two goals and Kim Glinski one as Daemen (4-5) won its fourth straight game with a 5-2 decision over Marywood.
WOMEN'S TENNIS: Nicole Becker earned a 6-0, 6-2 win for Buffalo State's (1-4) only point in an 8-1 loss to Brockport.
