Robert S. Schraver, 70, of Summerfield, Fla., died Saturday (Sept. 23, 2000) in Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, Fla., after a brief illness.
Born in Albany and a graduate of Albany High School and Albany Business College, Schraver lived most of his life in Albany. He moved to Clarence in 1978.
He was a truck salesman for International Harvester for 43 years before retiring to Summerfield in 1996.
He was a past member of the Grand Master Lodge 5, F&AM, in Albany. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a past vice commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Spruce Creek, Fla.
Survivors include his wife, the former Betty Guliano; two sons, Robert D. of Rotterdam and Brian S. of Phoenix; two daughters, Barbara Magee of Wynantskill and Bonnie Willis of San Antonio, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Private services will be scheduled.
