HELP SOUGHT IN SEARCH FOR SLAYING SUSPECT

Buffalo homicide detectives are seeking the public's help in apprehending the suspect in the June 29 shooting death of a man making a telephone call at a pay phone on the corner of Rhode Island Street and Normal Avenue.

Anibal Sosa, 19, who is wanted in the killing of Jerico Stock, is known to hang around on the West Side of Buffalo, police said. He is described as a Hispanic male, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police have warned that he is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with any information about Sosa's whereabouts or any other unsolved felony may call Crime Stoppers at 856-5600. Callers, who will remain anonymous, could be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward.
