PENGUINS GOALIE AUBIN ENDS HOLDOUT

Penguins goaltender Jean-Sebastien Aubin, who lost his starting job just before the playoffs, ended his 2 1/2 -week holdout by signing a $700,000, one-year contract.

With Ron Tugnutt now playing for expansion Columbus after leading the Penguins into the second round of the playoffs, Aubin, 23, is expected to start this season.

The Penguins also signed center Kip Miller, who played with the team last season before he was traded to Anaheim.

In other NHL news, left wing Vyacheslav Kozlov, a restricted free agent, signed a two-year contract with the Detroit Red Wings.
