Memo to the program directors on the AM dial: Please bring back national sports talk to Buffalo. Last year at this time we had the likes of "The Men's Rooms" -- Peter Brown and One-on-One sports. You can keep Jim Rome and his countless O.J. retakes.
Do we really need six hours of a pregame show with Bulldog and Ann Burke? Last week's question of the day was "What is your favorite position to watch the game?" Come on, really.
Having a wife and kids, I find it impossible to sit in front of a TV for 12 hours every Sunday. And with Bob Berger and Bruce Murray, I didn't need to. They made you feel like you were at each game as they went around the NFL. Now we have Mr. Handyman and others.
Most of all, the best local radio show is gone: Monday Night Quarterback with Larry Felser. I'm going down South for a couple weekends in October and I can't wait to listen to some old friends and some good national sports talk!
