A reception was given in Park Lane Restaurant before David Michael Carlon and his bride, Nancy Ann Szmanda, left for Hawaii. Their marriage took place Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church, Kenmore. The Rev. Paul M. Nogaro performed the ceremony.
Patricia Szmanda of Cheektowaga and Robert Szmanda of Tonawanda are the bride's parents. The bridegroom is the son of Rachelle Sacco-DiCarlo of Kenmore.
The couple are employed by GAR Associates, the bride as a research/database administrator and the bridegroom as a commercial real estate appraiser. She is a graduate of Cleveland Hill High School and Buffalo State College. He is a graduate of St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute and University of New Haven. They will be at home in Buffalo.
