A man convicted of injecting his 16-year-old daughter and two of her teenage friends with methamphetamine has been sentenced to 35 to 70 years in prison.
Dennis Avery, 50, of Papillion, was convicted in March of three counts of child abuse, three counts of drug distribution and one count of drug possession.
Authorities identified Avery's 16-year-old daughter and two of her friends as his victims. At trial, one girl testified that she had been injected as many as 75 times.
At sentencing Friday, he said he was sorry for what he had done.
