Craft festival: More than 75 crafters will show their handiwork, as the Amherst Museum, 3755 Tonawanda Creek Road, holds its sixth annual Harvest Craft Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Other attractions include bluegrass bands, a petting zoo, a pumpkin patch and a farmers' market with local produce.
Meeting: The Saratoga Park Society wants to hear residents' ideas about solving vandalism and other problems in the park and what direction the park should take in the future at a meeting at 10 a.m., cafeteria of Amherst Middle School, 55 Kings Highway.
Work session: Conservation Advisory Council, 10 a.m., Town Hall, Broadway and Union.
History weekend: The Hartland Historical Society will sponsor a historical weekend from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the District 10 one-room schoolhouse, Carmen and Seaman roads, Saturday and Sunday. There will be children's games, music, a flea market, raffles and historical exhibits as well as chicken chowder Saturday and a chicken tender dinner Sunday.
Festival: The New York Power Authority's annual Wildlife Festival, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Artpark; use the Portage Road entrance. A day of free family fun featuring exotic animals, music, hands-on art, hunting and fishing workshops, along with many more "wild" activities.
Harvest Festival and Country Fair: The Lewiston Festival and Craft Show will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday along Center Street. The annual Lewiston Country Fair will be held in conjunction with the festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in Lewiston Red Brick School, 145 N. Fourth St.

Re-enactment: War of 1812 British Garrison at Old Fort Niagara, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Robert Moses Parkway North. Revisit the time after the British capture of the fort and see the uniforms and drills.
