THIRD DAY OF SHELLING REPORTED IN KASHMIR

Pakistan and India traded heavy artillery and mortar fire for the third straight day Wednesday on the frontier in disputed Kashmir.

Pakistan said seven civilians were killed and 11 injured Wednesday when India fired some 600 shells on the Dudhnail hamlet in northern Kashmir.

The two sides both described heavy fighting Tuesday night in a region known as the Lipa sector.
