A memorial Mass for Aurelia Ranaletto, former owner of a wallpaper and paint store, will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 950 Losson Road, Cheektowaga. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
Mrs. Ranaletto, 73, died Sunday (Sept. 17, 2000) in the home of her daughter, Ann Marie Northup of Herkimer, after a battle with cancer.
Born Aurelia Glenski in Buffalo, she attended local schools. Known to her family and friends as Erlene, she was long employed in the accounting office of Westinghouse Electric Corp. until she retired in 1965.
After she and her husband, Frank, married in 1965, they relocated to Mexico, N.Y., where she opened Erlene's Mexico Wallpaper & Paint. She closed the store in 1979. The Ranalettos divorced in 1993, and she returned to Buffalo.
She frequented bingo games at the Seneca Indian Nation and collected jewelry.
Surviving, in addition to her daughter and former husband, are two sisters, Adeline Harding of Lackawanna and Sylvia Szumigala of West Seneca, and four grandchildren.
