POLICE SEEKING SUSPECT IN JUNE SHOOTING CASE

Buffalo police are seeking the public's help in finding a known suspect in a June assault on Nevada Avenue in which a man was shot twice while standing on a porch.

Larrone B. Williams has been identified by witnesses as the shooter, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest, Buffalo police said. Williams, 28, is about 5 foot 8 and 135 pounds.

The victim, after being shot twice with a .40-caliber handgun, was treated in Erie County Medical Center for his wounds.

Anyone with any information about this crime or any other unsolved felony may call the Crime Stoppers coordinators at 856-5600. Callers, who will remain anonymous, are eligible for up to a $1,000 reward.
