Wilma E. Howard, 91, of Hamburg, a homemaker, died Saturday (Sept. 16, 2000) in her home after a brief illness.

Born Wilma Daum in Barre Center, she had been a Hamburg resident since 1947. The mother of four, she worked at Lake View Hotel for 10 years.

She was a member of Hamburg Presbyterian Church.

She and Ralph E. Howard were married in 1927. He died in 1966.

Surviving are two daughters, Linda of Buffalo and Judy Wiley of Silver Creek; a son, Ralph of Hamburg; two sisters, Eolabelle Schmelzer of West Seneca and Virginia Dickinson of North Tonawanda; a brother, Eugene Daum of Albion; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Froehley-Dengler Funeral Home, 84 Lake St., Hamburg. Burial in Mount Albion Cemetery, Albion, will be private.
