June Rose Marie Graham, 83, of Kenmore, a retired cashier, died unexpectedly Thursday (Sept. 14, 2000) in Millard Fillmore Hospital.

She was born June Rose Marie Bogner in Buffalo. Her family moved to Kenmore when she was a year old. She graduated from Kenmore High School in 1935 and married Willard Curtis Graham in 1943. He died in 1972.

During World War II, she worked as a display decorator at Wm. Hengerer Co. She later worked at Singer Sewing Center and as a teller at Federal Bank of Kenmore.

Mrs. Graham was also a cashier at the Corner Store and Millard Fillmore Hospital for 10 years. She retired in the 1980s.

She volunteered as a nurse's aide at the American Red Cross and also volunteered for Meals on Wheels.

She was a Sunday school teacher at Kenmore Methodist Church, where she was member of the choir for 20 years. She also was a member of the League of Women Voters and the Republican Party.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol J. of Java Center; a sister, Ann Gertis of Clearwater, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

Services were held today in Bury & Roberts Funeral, 3070 Delaware Ave., Kenmore. Burial was in Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
