Jennie Kujawa, 69, a retired Carborundum Co. machine operator, died Saturday (Sept. 16, 2000) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a lengthy illness.
She was born Jennie Gwiazdowski in Toronto. For the last 33 years, she lived in Ransomville and, before that, in Niagara Falls.
Mrs. Kujawa worked at Carborundum's Niagara Falls plant for 25 years and retired in 1993.
She enjoyed making dolls and working in her flower gardens.
An animal lover, Mrs. Kujawa supported many wildlife-related organizations.
She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Her husband, Walter, died in 1991.
Surviving are two sons, Daniel of Attica and Walter; two daughters, Lori Shook of Cambria and Kelli Fisher of Wilson; and three grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Road. Prayers will be said at 11 in Hardison Funeral Home, 3648 Ransomville Road. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Wilson.
