Dorothy R. Grys, 71, of Attica died Friday (Sept. 15, 2000) in United Memorial Medical Center, Batavia, after a brief illness.
Born Dorothy R. Steele, she was a lifelong resident of Attica and a graduate of Attica Central High School.
Mrs. Grys was employed for many years as an assembly line worker at Mallory Timers in Warsaw. She later took a position as a security guard with the Pinkerton Security & Investigation. She retired in 1997.
Her first husband, Joseph, died in 1972. She later married Charles J. Bayliss, who died in 1999.
She enjoyed gardening and embroidering.
Mrs. Grys is survived by two daughters, Ruth Adams of East Bethany and Deborah Everts of North Java; three sons, Bruce Bayliss of Warsaw, Robert Bayliss of Attica and Mark of Varysburg; a sister, Edith Bender; 14 grandchil-dren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
