Special win

Yale became the first school to win 800 games as Rashad Bartholomew scored three touchdowns and rushed for 201 yards in a 42-6 victory over Dayton. Yale played and won its first game on Nov. 16, 1872, 3-0 against Columbia. The Bulldogs are 800-298-51 in their 128-year football history.

Strong statement

Ryan McCann passed for 236 yards and two touchdowns and No. 14 UCLA beat No. 3 Michigan, 23-20, marking the second time in three games that the Bruins beat the nation's third-ranked team.

Slipping by

Eddie Faulkner scored on a spinning 16-yard run in overtime as No. 4 Wisconsin beat Cincinnati, 28-25, to avoid a second straight loss to the Bearcats. The win extended the Badgers' winning streak to 11 games.
