WOODRUFF, LEACH JOIN DAVIS CUP TEAM

With Pete Sampras suffering from a hip flexor injury and Todd Martin ailing with a viral infection, U.S. Davis Cup captain John McEnroe has named Chris Woodruff and Rick Leach to play in this weekend's match against Zimbabwe.

The U.S.-Zimbabwe match, to be played Friday-Sunday at the Harare City Sports Center, will be McEnroe's debut as captain.

Woodruff, who will make his Davis Cup debut, and Leach, who will be playing in the Davis Cup for the 10th time, join Australian Open champion Andre Agassi and Alex O'Brien.
