Mary Haldeman, 93, formerly of North Tonawanda, died Friday (Jan. 28, 2000) in Northgate Manor Health Care Facility, Wheatfield, after a long illness. She had been a patient there for the past 5 1/2 years.
Born Mary King in Pottsville, Pa., she attended schools there before moving to Jamestown. She moved to North Tonawanda in 1932.
A homemaker, Mrs. Haldeman was a member of First United Methodist Church, North Tonawanda, and Swiftwater Power Squadron.
Her husband, Albert, died in 1994.
Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Lindbloom of Williamsville, Janet Gantz of Kenmore and June Jordan of North Tonawanda; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church, Main and Tremont streets, North Tonawanda.
