The 17th Niagara Falls USA Karate-Tae Kwon Do-Kung Fu Championships will be held March 18 at Niagara University.
The Junior USA team, headed by black belt Eric Patricko, and the Junior Team Canada, headed by ranked black belt Josh McDonald, will take part in the open feature event, which is Sport Karate International rated.

BASEBALL/SOFTBALL: The Eden Athletic Association will hold registration for this summer's baseball and softball seasons on Friday, 6-8 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m.-noon.There is a coed rookie league for ages 5-6, girls minor (coach-pitch, 7-9), girls major (10-12), girls senior (13-16), girls travel (17-21), boys bambino (coach pitch, 7-8), boys minor (9-10), boys major (11-12), boys senior (13-15) and boys travel (16-18). SOCCER: The sixth coaches clinic will be held Feb. 26 at Lancaster High School. The advanced course will be run by Bob Dikranian, coach at Division II Southern Connecticut State. There will be courses for age under 6-8 house league, under 10-12 house and travel league, goalkeeper for coaches and players, fitness and rules of the game.
