Anne L. Johnson, 64, of East Aurora, a bartender at the East Aurora Moose Lodge, died Friday (Jan. 28, 2000) at the home of a friend in Salamanca after a long illness.
Born Anne Grove in Bradford, Pa., she was a graduate of Bradford High School and worked in reservations for American Airlines in New York City and California.
She came to East Aurora from San Mateo, Calif., in the early 1970s.
She was a member of East Aurora Chapter 2010, Women of the Moose, and was a social member of the East Aurora American Legion.
She enjoyed reading, golf, country music and walking.
Surviving are a brother, Stanley M. Grove Jr. of Manassas, Va., and three sisters, Kathy Crone of West Falls, Sylvia Ophdal of Jamestown and Barbara Serbatius of Fredonia.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Wood Funeral Home, 784 Main St., East Aurora. Burial will be in Willowdale Cemetery, Bradford.
