Tweed Roosevelt will reminisce about his great-grandfather in a lecture, "Theodore Roosevelt Remembered: A Model for Leadership," at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 9 in the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society Museum.
The talk will center on Tweed Roosevelt's memories of the family home, Sagamore Hill, and T.R.'s larger-than-life personality as well as leadership qualities and values. The speaker has appeared on numerous national radio and television programs and addressed audiences around the world.
The event will be the second in a series sponsored by Medaille College in conjunction with "Theodore Roosevelt: Icon of the American Century," which runs through March 19 in the Nottingham Court museum. The traveling exhibit was organized by the National Portrait Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution and presented here by the Historical Society and the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site.
