Louis Tussaud's Waxworks, 4915 Clifton Hill, has reopened after a ruptured water pipe shut down the museum a week ago today.

Museum officials said the actual damage to the building was minimal after the sprinkler-system pipe burst at about 10:09 a.m. that day in a first-floor ceiling of the three-story museum.

The ruptured pipe caused some damage to the floor, walls and ceiling, as well as some flooding in the front foyer area, in the museum office and cashier's window. The museum's wax figures escaped damage.
