Buffalo police arrested a Rother Avenue man shortly after he allegedly stabbed another man in the neck with a kitchen knife around midnight Saturday.
Christopher M. Livecchi, 28, is charged with felony first-degree assault, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle and petit larceny in connection with stabbing Ronald Geska, no age listed, also of Rother.
Buffalo police said the two were involved in an altercation when Livecchi stabbed Geska in the neck with the kitchen knife and fled in Geska's car. Police said they tracked Livecchi to the 1100 block of Broadway a short time later and took him into custody.
Geska was treated for stab wounds to his neck and cuts on his hands. He was listed in fair condition Saturday at the Erie County Medical Center.
