DOG ATTACKS 12-YEAR-OLD GIRLS

Two 12-year-old girls were injured Friday when they were attacked by a dog that's part rottweiler, sheriff's deputies said Saturday.

Kimberly A. Carnes of West Washington Street and Elisa J. Roeseler of Wicks Road, Lockport were about to visit wa friend at 1662 Lockport-Olcott Road when a dog at that address bit Carnes on the right leg and Roeseler on the right hip. The girls' parents were to seek medical treatment for them, deputies said.

The Niagara County Health Department officials ordered the dog's owner, Michael Moxham, to confine the dog for 10 days while they investigate.
