Eighteen teen-agers, three of them juvenile girls, were arrested early Friday at an alleged beer party in a vacant Susanne Drive home, sheriff's Deputy Joseph M. Shanley said.

Shanley said deputies were called to the house at about 12:01 a.m. when neighbors complained about numerous people walking in and out of the vacant home.

Deputies said they found the teen-agers -- all city and town residents -- in the basement with a quarter-keg of beer. They charged 12 males and three females with second-degree criminal trespass and under-age possession of an alcoholic beverage, Shanley said.

The three 15-year-old girls were turned over to their parents and are being charged
