MICKELSON, LEHMAN TIED <br> FOR LEAD IN PHOENIX

Phil Mickelson seems to have regained his touch at the Phoenix Open. Mickelson shot an 8-under-par 63 to tie Tom Lehman for the first-round lead and leave everybody else at least three strokes behind.

It was a 17-shot turnaround for Mickelson at the 7,083-yard TPC of Scottsdale course. Last year, he finished with an 80.

David Duval, Dennis Paulson, Charles Raulerson and Esteban Toledo were at 66.

In Port St. Lucie, Fla., Rick Hartmann of Bridgehampton shot a 73 to open a two-shot lead after three rounds of the PGA Stroke Play Championship. Hartmann is at 213, two ahead of East Aurora's Lonnie Nielsen, who shot a 75.
