An information session on Cornell University's Summer College for High School Students will be held for prospective students and their parents at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Williamsville South High School, 5950 Main St., Amherst.

Students who attended the program in previous years, the parent of a former participant and a former Cornell administrator will explain the program and answer questions.

The program on the Cornell campus in Ithaca offers a six-week session for students who have completed their junior or senior years. Students take two college courses and participate in academic and career seminars.

Two three-week sessions also are offered for high school juniors and seniors, and a separate three-week honors program is available for students who have completed their sophomore year of high school.
