North Tonawanda recreation and golf passes for this year are on sale at the city Department of Youth, Recreation and Parks in the Col. Payne Community Center, 460 Wheatfield St.
Passes may be purchased on weekdays from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and on the second Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Through use of the pass, residents receive reduced greens fees at Deerwood Golf course and have free access to all city swimming pools and programs. The pass is used for eligibility for adult league programs and instructional classes and provides free access to all adult gym programs. With the recreation pass, resident voters receive a discount on boat launch parking permits.
The adult pass costs $30 and is good for two years. Youths may acquire a pass for $5 for one year. Residents 62 and older may purchase a pass for $10, good for two years.
Residents may purchase nonrestrictive golf season passes for $315. Nonresident, nonrestrictive passes cost $535. For resident families with more than one golfer, a family plan requires the first golfer to purchase a $315 pass. The second golfer's pass is $235.
For seniors citizens and youths, a restrictive golf pass is available. These allow the golfer to play free through 3 p.m. on weekdays and after 3 p.m. on weekends. The senior golf pass costs $160, and the youth pass $100.
