Romulus Women's Auxiliary will have its annual Snow Ball Luncheon Saturday in Park Lane Restaurant, starting with Dutch-treat cocktails at 11:30 a.m. Dalia Dispenza, Theresa Ferraina and Yvonne Ferraina Meister are chairwomen. Maria Lagona is taking reservations. Joan Wong will give a demonstration on "Oriental Brush Painting" at a meeting of Ikebana International Buffalo Chapter 50 Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Buffalo Museum of Science. Wong is a graduate of National Taiwan College of Arts. Harriet Cole, author of "Jumping the Broom -- The African-American Wedding Planner" will speak when Gamma Kappa Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, celebrates Founders Day at a luncheon Feb. 5 at noon in Banchetti by Rizzo, Amherst. The author will sign books in Langston Hughes Center at 5 p.m. that day.

A video tape of the 1999 Continental Congress of National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will be shown at a luncheon for Niagara Falls Chapter, DAR, Feb. 5 in Inn on the River, Niagara Falls. Earl Shackleford will present a program, "History of Negro Spirituals," when Clarence Women's Club meets Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in Clarence Town Park Clubhouse.

The 14th annual Camp Good Days and Special Times' benefit dance will be held Feb. 5 in Hearthstone Manor from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Music will be by J & M Productions. Larry Norton of 97 Rock will conduct a live auction and there will be a silent auction and hourly raffles. Zonta Club of Kenmore will meet Wesnesday at 7 p.m. in Classics Banquet Center to receive the schedule for members participating in lap reading at Kenilworth Library. Dinner at 6 p.m. will precede the meeting.

Retiring and outgoing board members will be honored at a dinner for Women Associates of the Buffalo Power Squadron Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in Protocol Restaurant. Doris Sloan is chairwoman. Lois Ganter has won the Ida Smither Founder's Award for the past year and Terry Lisowski has been named winner of the Florence Adams Achievement Award. The women's choir of Kenmore United Methodist Church, directed by Gladys Hea, will entertain at a luncheon for the church's United Methodidst Women Feb. 3 at 11:45 a.m. in the church. Virginia Snyder will speak on "The Fast I Choose: A Day Acceptable to the Lord." Self-denial bags will be dedicated.
