The Town of Tonawanda-Kenmore Historical Society will present a lecture and slide show on the late local artist Thomas Scovio on Feb. 8.
Two of Scovio's paintings are on permanent display in the Historical Society's museum. One is of the Erie Canal and the other is the twin Eberhardt mansions at Delaware and Kenmore avenues. Today, only one of the historic homes remains.
The presentation will be given by James Rapp, a Historical Society board member starting at 7:30 p.m. in the historical society, 100 Knoche Road.
Refreshments will be served, and the new officers will be installed. Admission is free.
