It's probably a safe bet that the King of Rock 'n' Roll never hung out with Harry Truman or Franklin D. Roosevelt.

But now Elvis Presley will share a space with former presidents Roosevelt and Truman in a new exhibit.

The "Looking Back on the American Century" exhibit opens Feb. 5 in the Truman Library. Truman was from Independence.

On display will be stage suits from Presley and John Lennon, handcuffs from which magician Harry Houdini escaped, a motorcycle James Dean rode, Walt Disney's Academy Award for creating Mickey Mouse and a dinner menu from the Titanic.

A cloak worn by Roosevelt will also be included.
