A Pennsylvania man who set fire to a hotel was sentenced Monday in Cattaraugus County Court to six months in jail.
Kevin W. Fluent, 40, of Emporium, Pa., also was sentenced by Judge Larry M. Himelein to five years probation and $5,500 restitution for his guilty plea to fourth-degree arson, Nov. 28, 1998, in Little Valley. Fluent admitted he set fire to the hotel while people were inside and endangered their lives.

Torreac Clayton, 23, of Buffalo was sentenced to a year in jail for his guilty plea to fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, April 30 in Yorkshire.
Deborah A. Freeman, 44, of Olean was sentenced to five years of probation and restitution of $7,618 for her guilty plea to fourth-degree grand larceny. She admitted that between December 1995 and June 1998, while working as an accountant for Blue Bird Coach Lines in Olean, she stole $24,926 by writing checks from various accounts.
Amber J. Dabolt, 17, of Olean pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (LSD), Aug. 12 in Olean. She will be sentenced next month.
Sentencing is scheduled Feb. 28 for David A. Digusto, 30, of Randolph, who pleaded guilty to third-degree rape of a person younger than 17, on June 30 in Randolph.
Daryl L. Myers, 30, of Delevan pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated, Aug. 6 in Yorkshire. He will be sentenced Feb. 28.
Darlene M. Milanowski, 44, of Salamanca faces sentencing Feb. 13 for her guilty plea to driving while intoxicated, Nov. 27 in Great Valley.
